Every Pokémon Go game is accompanied by the usual increased spawns and updated Raid and Egg pools. The Hoenn event provides players with the opportunity to obtain some legendary rewards. If you plan to attend the Hoenn Celebration Event, here is all the event information you need to know.
 
Just like the previous regional activities, the reward is an extra contact with some characteristic HoennPokémon, which will also help players complete the Hoenn Collection challenge. Players will be motivated to complete a raid to capture Groudun and Gingray at the same time, so that they can encounter Requasa with a special action hurricane in the arsenal.

Pokemon Go Hoenn Event Features
1. Enjoy event-specific field research missions, reward stardust, and encounter Pokémon such as Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Aron, Plusle, Minun, and Waimer.
2. During the event, complete the Hoenn-themed collection challenge by collecting Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Nincada, Nosepass, Aron, Plusle, Minun and Bagon, and you will get three Silver Pinap berries, XP and an incense. Go to the "Today View" to track your progress!
3. Evolve Metang (an evolutionary form of Beldum) during the event to get a Metagros, which Metagros knows to attack Meteor Mash exclusively on previous Community Days!
4. Event-only timed research will be available! Complete the timed research task with Hoenn as the theme, and get the following rewards.
5. Catch up with two Kyogre to get 10 Kyogre candies.
6. Catch up with two Groudons to get 10 Groudon candies.
7. Catch up with 30 Pokémon to get 30 Pokémon Balls.
8. After completing all the timed research tasks, you will encounter a Rayquaza who knows the only charged hurricane and gains 3,000 XP and a Silver Pinap Berry. If you are very lucky, you may encounter the shiny Rayquaza!
9. Starting from 1:00 pm on January 19, 2021 (Tuesday), the game store will provide a free bundle containing three remote attack passes to help you challenge Kyogre and Groudon. Until January 25, 2021, Monday, 1:00 PM PST (GMT -8).
