There are some new contents coming to NHL 22, including new factors coming to Hockey Ultimate Team, World of Chel, Be a Pro and Franchise Mode. Let's take a look!

 
 

Hockey Ultimate Team
In the popular competitive mode, there will be power-up items that give players one x-factor ability to start with while unlocking more as they progress through the game.
 
World of Chel
As shown in the technical beta launched earlier this month, just playing World of Chel modes, such as EASHL, 3s Eliminator and drop-in games will allow you to unlock x-factor abilities for your customized player.
 
Be a Pro
Be a Pro has always had a focus on carving out your own story through your NHL career, and, like in World of Chel, your customized player will earn and equip the x-factor abilities while furthering your future.
 
Franchise Mode
New X-Factor reports allow scouting of both pro and amateur X-Factors. X-Factors contribute to line chemistry, influence trade values of players and are integrated with Fog of War.
 
In addition to Superstar X-Factors, the developers also spoke about other new features coming to NHL 22’s core modes. In Hockey Ultimate Team, players will now be able to unlock and customize synergies, allowing for players to perform better on the ice. World of CHEL gets some more customization in terms of character classes, as well as a revamped hub. Be a Pro mode adds dynamic challenges that will extend past the first year of players’ career, giving them bigger milestones to chase.

·October 6 – Hockey Ultimate Team
 
The Standard Edition of NHL 22 releases on October 15 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The X-Factor Edition launches 3 days earlier and includes bonus in-game content. The NHL 22 trial arrives for EA Play and Xbox Game Pass on October 7.
