How to Complete Sea of Indolence Abyssal Dungeon Raid
Sea of Indolence is a pretty unique Abyss Dungeon. Players will take on the first part of this dungeon wearing scuba gear and with a new set of abilities. After the first boss, players will lose their suit and an oxygen mechanic will be introduced. A slowly emptying ring will appear above your head, indicating how much oxygen you have remaining. To refill your oxygen, you simply need to stand on oxygen bubbles or interact with the underwater plants marked on your mini-map.
The first boss fight is somewhat unique, where you will face a sea dragon underwater while wearing a scuba diver suit and new fight mechanics. The boss is fairly easy, and it has few attacks that deal low damage.
One of its attacks will spawn red markers on the map, and puddles will appear that will deal some damage. In another attack will aim in a certain direction and charge towards it. Anyone caught in its way will get knocked back and slightly damaged.
The major part of the boss fight is when a mini-boss Shark will spawn in the arena. Kill the shark boss to get a damage buff that will easily help you take out the main boss.
Indolence Sentinel Akams’ attacks will add a stack to you when they hit. You can take three hits and allow the stack to build three times before you should clear it with a Panacea (or coordinate with your cleanse classes). On the fourth hit, you will be petrified and need your party to break you out. A purple bar will indicate how many more hits will break you free. Likewise, you will want to break any trapped teammates free. Hopefully in time for the next ability.
The first section of Sea of Indolence is the only other mob-clearing section of an Abyssal Dungeon that manages to surpass the fanfare of the Hall of the Twisted Warlord. The fact that players get to go underwater in a non-revealing outfit (for once), get an exclusive moveset tied only to this Dungeon and have to memorize a new system with the O2 Meter all add up to make this immediately memorable.
That said, the first section can take a while, as there is a lot of mob-clearing, and players don't have their optimized Skills down yet most of the time. Plus, for some reason, the Purple Team and Green Team checkpoint loading after the first batch of mob-clearing always seem to lag and cause everyone to run around in circles wondering if the Dungeon is actually bugged this time or if it'll fix itself in a minute.
When the boss is about to charge, move to its sides so that you are clear of its path. When you are stunned, your teammates can help you out of the stun by breaking it.
