Pokemon Go Weather Limited Research Day Overview
The event takes place on Saturday, March 30, and runs from 11 AM to 8 PM local time. During those hours, trainers will see Shiny Lotad and Shiny Castform. Normal Form of Castform will appear throughout the event, marking the first time either has been available in Pokemon Go.
The event takes place on Saturday, March 30, and runs from 11 AM to 8 PM local time. During those hours, this weather themed event will have boosted spawn rates for Pokemon that appear in certain weather conditions, including Castform, which has four different forms that are dependent on the weather. In addition, Niantic is also adding the move Weather Ball for Castform permanently to the game at the beginning of the event. You can read more details about the new Limited Research event on the official Pokemon Go website.
The event serves as a great way to get a bunch of EXP and rewards and even get an army of Ludicolo to help you on your quest to take over gyms in your local area. So, be sure to size this rare chance. Get out there and catch them all!
Along with the Pokemon Go Weather Limited Research Day, Pokemon Giratina returns to Pokémon Go Legendary Raids alongside his Origin Forme next week. This time the Legendary Pokémon Giratina in it’s Altered Forme will return March 27 to April 2 (1 PM PDT). Following Altered Forme Giratina’s mini-return is the release of Origin Forme Giratina April 2 to April 29 (1 PM PDT).
Giratina(Altered Forme) Counter
Giratina (Altered Form) is a T5 Raid boss in Pokémon GO (38326 Combat Power). Giratina counters are mostly weak to Dragon, Dark, Ghost and Ice types, such as Rayquaza, Palkia, Dragonite, Latios, Gengar, Shadow Ball Mewtwo and Tyranitar.
Rayquaza is a beast when used against Giratina, as it exploits its weakness to Dragon type attacks and deals a ridiculous amount of damage. Rayquaza is followed by three Dragon types with similar performance: Dragonite, Latios and Salamence, which all perform excellently against Giratina. TTW goes down towards Latios.
Shadow Ball Mewtwo and Shadow Claw Gengar are your only two viable Ghost options for fighting Giratina. Tyranitar is the only Dark type we recommend against Giratina. It is very efficient in terms of Potion usage. At the same time, you can buy Incense or Lure Modules with
Cheap Pokemon Go Coins from
Rvgm.com to attract Giratina in the wild.
When picking Giratina counters, you want to be sure how big your group is and what moves Giratina has. No matter how bigger your group is, it would be much easier to go with niche Dragon types as we’ve mentioned above and good ice types like Mamoswine and Weavile with you.
